BRYAN BRUCE APPOINTED TO DIRECTOR OF SALES FOT INTERNATIONAL PLAZA RESORT & SPA

Orlando, Florida (September 24, 2007) – Bryan Bruce, former National Sales Manager for Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, has been named as Director of Sales at Orlando’s new International Plaza Resort & Spa, a luxurious Orlando Resort, 28-acre hotel condominium in the heart of one of the world’s most popular tourism destinations.   

Bringing an impressive portfolio of hospitality experience to his new role, Bruce will oversee hotel sales and convention bookings for the newly redesigned, 1,100-unit International Plaza Resort & Spa. The expansive hotel condominium was acquired by the Buena Vista Hospitality Group and its joint venture partner UrbanAmerica. 

Prior to this position, Bruce served as National Sales Manager for the renowned Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. The 2,300-room property is the largest in Starwood’s family of resorts and hotels.  

Bruce also served as Guest Services Manager during the grand opening of the four-star, four-diamond Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort. During this time, Bryan helped the hotel achieve numerous service awards, including top service rankings within Hyatt Hotels & Resorts for 2001 and 2002. In 2002, Bruce joined the Hyatt Regency sales team with the aim to increase short-term group bookings for the Las Vegas Resort. It quickly became one of the most successful Hyatt Resort properties in America. 

Earlier in his career, Bruce held positions at the Orlando World Center Marriott, as well the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport. Bruce is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where he earned a B.A. in Communications.
